Server question.

Hello. I live in brisbane and I'm wondering what are the times that the servers go offline/Online on a Wednesday for maintenance.

Also- Are they down currently?

If someone could just post the times that'd be great. Give me an idea (New to forums and I am not sure how/ where to look for this information (a link to that would be helpful for the future as well)

Maintenance. Usually around 4pm AEST on Wednesday.

Because they are the same version.  Experimental hasn't been updated yet.

Wel yeah, but that still doesn't anwser WHY i only get Experimentals at Stable. And nothing else, also my fav's are gone.

Every Wednesday is maintenance day.  Do not confuse this with patches tho.  It's strictly server maintenance unless stated by BiS.

DayZ SA will have a weekly maintenance period. Every Wednesday, at 06.00 GMT servers will go down for 3 hours.

But I'm trying to find a "Server status/ progress" post on the forums that updates the players on well... the progress- yet Have had little to no luck.

Any updates so far? Or any links to where I could find such post?

Server status updates are provided by the GSP's (Game Service Provider).  I do not think I've ever seen a post on these forums letting us know that servers are back up from an official source.

Look. I get it. It must happen a lot. But there's no reason to sit here mocking those new to the forums in a 'Self righteous- i'm so ***ken mighty' attitude Most forums are made to help and guide people- and in that endeavor, your attitude will not do. But thank-you for your post. 'I think', And i'm sure 90% of other people will agree- that a ferret riding a unicorn into battle armed with a toaster would be more helpful.

we used to have a sticky, but most people just ignored/missed it and posted threads requesting information anyway.

Also used to have a floating banner at top of page which displayed for 5 seconds upon viewing any page, but same problem.

 

Server maintenance: every Wednesday at 6:00 GMT.  Down time is usually around 3hours unless otherwise stated.  PATCHES MAY INCREASE THIS TIME.

 

While forums are just that, a place for people to come to discuss and get information, these forums record written information... Search people Search.

UTFSE isn't nearly as prevalent here as other forums, but please search first for your issue, as with bugtracker.

 

Search engine unfortunately doesn't get you too much information, but you can see regular reddit posts in the official forums posted almost every wednesday stating server down ETA 3 hours.  It has a timestamp on the post, but that time listed may not be relevant to your time-zone.

unfortunately the reddit posts don't seem to timestamp, so you can't really track it, but all the information here :)

 

Your timezone may differ from GMT, but a simple google will sort you out, and give you some basic geography knowledge as well :)
