Three Major Things .47

These three things are creating problems.

 

1.  When running with a weapon in hand while looking around.  I've lost an AKM and three Mosins now, just by looking around while running.  My character decides it time to just huck the weapon..which then disappears into the ground.   I also tried throwing a beer outside just to see and it also vanished, only I did that one on purpose.

 

2.  Using a scope.  If you stopped running for a min or two - even ten minutes, the sway should not be like it is!  Unusable Mosin w/scope at this point.

 

3.  Zombies with super hearing.  I do like the increase in zombies, but do they really need to start running from Cherno to Novo when a gun goes off?  No.  Also, if new zombies spawn in the area after you have shot a few, then they should not be alerted to the situation.

Regarding 3: Of course that's weird and annoying, but I'm sure this behaviour is just a placeholder. Many are asking for more Z's, but the servers are not yet powerful enough or whatever to display as many Z's. So the devs are simulating many zombies by making them respawn and immediatly know where you are, so you get the feeling like a horde was assaulting you, but saving server ressources at the same time. This will be changed when the number of existing zombies is raised I guess.

1. Never encountered this and I look around quite a lot. Is sprinting a prerequisite for losing your weapon?

 

2. It seems like all weapons got the same amount of sway right now (at least Colt 1911, P1, Amphibia S and SKS with PU Scope). So you basically got pistol sway with your Mosin but the high zoom factor makes it look much stronger.

 

3. The issue was in before - its seems to have something to do with zombie respawns. The zombies added at server restart need to see you or hear your gunshot but the respawned ones have a much higher sight range and can look through obstacles.

the instant zombie respawn isnt much fun , nor are the invisible ones , or being hit from 10 meters away , as it jumps in the opposite direction from you , zeds are way flawed now  ,,, i took out one last night , bent down to bandage my self and literally watched it stand back up like it was in a magic show , scream and attack me again ... how are people supposed to engage in run and gun battles , when zeds spawn out of thin air , or come back to life in 10 seconds ? it might be a placeholder effect , but it needs to be addressed and fixed

Maybe you are accidentally hitting the G key while running? thats the only time I've ever seen a weapon get thrown from a player and it is common for anything that is thrown to disappear...the fix is to unbind your G key to disable throwing of objects, its hugely broken right now anyway.

I know alt and I think shift, but certainly one of the buttons around there, make you drop whatever's in your hands. I've had it happen to me many times in previous patches. Normally with melee weapons as I've been scanning for any zombie agro.

Not a new issue bit annoying nonetheless
