Pistol Magazine Rarity

The last day I decided I want a magazine for one of my pistols (had a P1, 1911 and a Amphibia S) - and I finally managed to find one for the Amphibia (search area: southwest map).

 

While searching I also found:

- two other Amphia S

- at least three other 1911

- two pistol flashlights

- two FNX optics

- two PSO-1 scopes

- two Blaze 95

- a Mosin

- three fireaxes

- three Sporter 22 10 round magazines

- three Sporter 22 30 round magazines

- countless pistol rounds

- countless SKS rifles

 

And noticable: No magazine for any other kind of pistol. I actually expected to find an AK before ever encountering a pistol magazine. Why are those things so rare? As written elsewhere it seriously gimps pistols as a whole as they are basically single shot about 95% of the time. How about making pistol magazines spawn where

1. pistols spawn
2. pistol attachments spawn
3. pistol ammo spawns

which might drastically improve the usefulness of a whole class of weapons.

It's not just pistol mags, though, also sporter for example. Still never used it because when you finally get a 30 mag, you already have a "better" weapon.

Yes. Sporter and pistol magazines need to be spawning a bit more frequently.

 

Likewise, they need to be spawning in the same building types as their respective weapons.

 

Wouldn't even be opposed to these magazines spawning empty just across the board, because the ammunition is (and should be) pretty easy to come across.

Have they moved the .22 spawns to more civilia areas since the patch? I havent payed enough to notice this.

That was tbe main issue with those weapons. Making them milspawns made them utterly useless.

But yes, the new carbine and sporter need their magazines added to the spawns for their area.

I don't see any reason why there couldn't be a high chance that a gun spawns with the magazine attached.

And the amount of cartridges in the magazine varies from empty to full.
