Cant loot dead bodies?

So last night I was in NEAF and was attacked by a guy with an axe. He dropped dead, from who knows what, and was unlootable, and his sporter and axe were side by side like 3 feet from his character. I left, not wanting to get sniped. Now today, I was attacked by a guy who was in a continuous motion for taking a weapon off his back, and was swinging his splitting axe at me while sliding across the ground.  I killed him with a fire axe, ad again, weapons side by side a few feet from his body, and unlootable. Is this something wrong with the rag dolls, or am i just unlucky?

Hmm...that is indeed interesting. I know there have been issues in the past with bodies being under trees and you being unable to loot them, but from what it sounds like the bodies were in perfectly reasonable positions for looting. 

 

I'll have to find someone and axe them in the face to test this theory lol

Yea, the first  guy was upstairs in the airtower at NEAF, and the second guy was i the street in front of the berezino PD.

You can, it's a bit difficult though finding the correct spot as it's often not where the body appears. I had some luck trying near or on the actual weapons (not the body)

I had luck with the head/neck area of the body.

ok fellas..... ill try again, but its strange. I spent a whole five minutes on that body. Oh well.

We killed a few people at camp tents 4/5 of them, the last one ran away, we couldn't find there bodys, I even have two of them who we killed recorded and there bodys should of been in easy to loot spot, bodys seem to disappear now kinmd of like how it used to.
