moneyman123100@live.com 2 Posted July 29, 2014 Have you ever wondered around around Cherno and saw a woman of class, yet you didn't have your trusty fedora so you couldn't properly introduce yourself by saying, "M'lady."? Well, it's time for a change. We must bring fedoras to the land and spread the ideology of being a gentlemen of class. We need to have a wide variety of fedoras, and an animation for fedora tipping. It's time for everyone to experience the euphoria. *Tips fedora*
irishroy 1347 Posted July 29, 2014 while I really like this idea, but... with the implementation of this, we should also be able to modify the 1911 like this ;) Against the opinions of people, who say "bah, this serves no real purpose" I can say:The DEVs also included Cowboy-hats and now bandit-cowboy-bandanas.
IkaikaKekai 1957 Posted July 29, 2014 Oh god that thing is sweet. It only saddens me that a 1928 was sacrificed to make a 1911 even more awesome.
emigrates 261 Posted July 29, 2014 Would not argue with the addition of the 1928 into DayZ. Not one little bit, regardless of the era, area, etc.

barneystafford@gmail.com 58 Posted July 29, 2014 I can't say that Fedoras remind me of gentlemanliness or high class, all I think of is Tommy-gun-toting gangsters. Now, give me a Top, or a Boater. I will tip one of those all day long!

TomatoSupra 207 Posted July 29, 2014 The only reason i am OK with this is because of White Collar. Not because neck beards wear them and think it makes them classy.
stielhandgranate 480 Posted July 29, 2014 Fedora and trenchcoats would be a good match in game.
irishroy 1347 Posted July 29, 2014 Better yet if we had the Thompson in game, are you thinking what i'm thinking? My M1911 was a joke ;)But of course a Tommygun would be damn stylish (and pretty effective, too). Fedora and trenchcoats would be a good match in game.I already suggested trenchcoats and coats overall.Sadly, the DEVs said "No", since coats would clip with the legs, etc. However I'm very sure that once the engine is replaced, or the object-detection-system works better, they'll implement coats :) *Tips fedora*, we also need 3 piece suits. You mean jacket, pants and vest? I really want my character to be an obese virgin. Just like me.

harley001 315 Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) The game needs more funny hats. We don't even have wizard hats in the game yet, or capes. How can I troll people without a wizard hat!? Not sure what category a fedora falls into. You don't see it in eastern Europe very often. But sure why not. As for the hat tipping, I dunno I feel like it might inspire dayz hipsters.
