Widescreen Woe

For the last couple of dayz has been booting up and running in some weird widescreen mode for me, where everything appears stretched. I haven't fiddled with the settings, and I can't get it back to normal despite tinkering with the resolution options. Any ideas? This happened to anyone else?

Did you also set the aspect ratio? It is different from the resolution.
