Melee Attack Reach vs Zombie Reach

I find it strange that the zombies seem to have a longer reach in their attacks while failing their arms, then I would have say with a baseball bat or other melee weapon. I find melee in the game to be frustrating, as somtimes, the zombie can even be positioned in such a way where I can't reach their head. I feel like the reach of attacks should precisely match how the models are animated and appear in game.

I agree, any weapon in general, aside from brass knuckles or the like, should give you a longer reach than arms alone.

Alpha, zombies have gone through a lot of changes already and they probably will go through even more.

They are just place holders, any way. At least, I assume they are because these are the most harmless zombies I have ever seen.
