hiniberus 122 Posted July 18, 2014 "Test of latest internal build gave us a significant performance increase on the server. Will be deployed to experimental tomorrow to confirm" Here's the source; Apparently it's going from 10-15 to about 30, doubled server performance cycles so we'll come to expect a fair bit of fluidity I hope c:

rodolfoxiii 71 Posted July 18, 2014 Hopefully it means that servers with more than 25 ppl won't lag.
byrgesen 1341 Posted July 18, 2014 (edited) and what does it mean? it is already smooth or is it about 10sec freezes? This means less lag for us players, a much more responsive server (opening doors, picking up and dropping loot, throwing, etc.) and it gives the developers a lot more to work with, serverside :)Even Arma III is struggling to support 40 people at 30 server FPS, in most of the popular missions, so this is great news tbh. Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted July 18, 2014 Hopefully it means that when I hit 1 to arm my rifle it does it without me having to drag it out of inventory.Hopefully it means that when I hit v I actually jump... so I don't have to spam v.Hopefully it means in general you don't have to wait on actions. After all, aren't they directly related to server performance?
