How do i tell a glitched weapon and how did it happen?

So, Im looting NWAF and I do a full lap from the hangars, fire station, army camp up to the jail/barracks on the far south side.

 

As i'm chilling in some trees near the barracks, the red chain appears. Some guy just logged in, as there was only about 5 people in the server, and straight away, his desync is at 10,000.

 

About a minute later, I see him run into the barracks (with gun out) and start looting. I run up to the concrete wall, but I dont have a mic so I had to type some greetings but I got ignored. He then ran into the shed and I lost sight of him. I was scared he knew where I was so I hid.

 

About 30 seconds later, I see him through the window, inside the barracks. I've a feeling he had red chain too and knew someone was close.

 

I go to the main door, put a bit of right lean on, and he pops out of the last bedroom at the end. I loosed off 7 FNX rounds ultra fast. Im stunned how quick he went down, insta death.

 

Anyway, looted him, he had an SKS on his back and an AKM in his hand. The AKM had no magazine, no stock, no ammo and in it's description box, it just said "..."

 

I picked it up and couldnt aim down the sights so threw it back down and ran away.

 

Is this a game glitch meaning I was just unlucky, or was he some kind of glitching cheater who managed to sneakily get himself an AK?

 

I hope it was, then I wont feel so bad for killing him :D

I've had the same thing happen with my m4. I fell from a building a few weeks ago in berezino and when I got back to my body the m4 had no attachments or anything. I picked it up, re logged and it was all good.

Probably what happened in this instance.

All I can tell you is there is no description for the AKM when you inspect it, mine also only shows "...", not sure why you couldn't aim, maybe because of the missing stock? Doesn't sound like a hacker to me, so start to feel bad ;)

This is one of the many bugs the game has for the moment.  Normally happens when you loot a gun from a dead body or a mate gives you one.  If you cannot aim (first or third), it means it is bugged.  The only solution I have found is to log off and log in again.  Then it should work just fine.

 

I dont know what it is.....hope it helps!
