Message to UN Clan

I was at the North-west Airfield, when shouting from the fire station caught my attention. I ran inside and found a guy in handcuffs on his knees. His clothes were bloodied and tattered, and some of his gear was scattered around him. He was only a boy, couldn't have been older than sixteen. I asked him what happened.

 

He was looting the fire station tower when he spotted an armed man running outside. He fired once, but quickly ceased his misguided assault. Two other men ran out behind the first, all of which were wearing blue UN helmets. They surrounded the boy, and he ultimately surrendered to them. The boy explained that he'd been startled and regretted firing, but the UN soldiers would have none of it. They handcuffed him and beat him unconscious a few times. 

 

And then they just left him there.

 

I'm going to hunt down and kill any UN clansman I find. That's a promise. Bandits are one thing, but there's something that irks me about this. The punishment perpetrated by these men, who are supposed to be friendly, was grossly unfair. It was a death sentence.

I, too, had an encounter of similarity.

I was down at Balota with my trusty Mosin, seeing if anyone needed help. It had seemed peaceful... Couple people looted barracks, moved on. The normal riffraff.

 

But then I saw around 4 people on the airstrip, in UN helmets, with military grade gear.

 

"Friendly people, cool."

 

But they waited there, they never moved.

Until two people came onto the airfield. Dropped them both, with no question.

 

So, I went into action mode and decided I would avenge them. I hit one at a good 800 meters, right in the shoulder- his friend bandaged him behind the barrack.

I pushed down low to the airfield, and hid behind the same barrack. The men were gone. I begin to scan, and I see the same man on top of the ACT. (the very very top.)

 

His shirt was ruined, and it only took one more shot to kill him. I assumed his friends were nearby, so I pushed across and came under fire from the ACT window. I fired from the hanger, managing to get off one shot in their general direction until I got killed.

I checked the player list

4 people with the tag [uN] in their name.

 

Misleading bastards.

Great now not only can we not wear the facemasks because they mean your a bandit we can't wear the un helmet either... Funny about the masks since there isn't that many faces to choose from it's not like anyone can recognize you anyway. Btw you can paint the blue helmet with spray paint. 8)

I've heard so many bad things about the UN clan. Sometimes in game and sometimes in videos. One time the clan spotted me before I saw them. They started shooting at me right away. I started running from them trying to lose them. It all happened in Berezino, I saw five of them chasing me and five people with the UN clan name in the player list. I ran straight to the forest and lost them there. After that I climbed up on the apartments to try to find there location but there wasn't anyone in sight. I figured they were heading to Svet since that was the direction I was running when I lost them to try to find and kill me. So I headed there hoping to find and kill them but once I got to Svet the UN clan was out of the server...

Not the UN clan, but we play with UN uniforms and we don't play friendly (often).

Yeah I can confirm there are issues with them too

I spoke to a popular friendly group a while back who showed them no aggression and even went out of their way to help them at one point and were met with hostility

I've ran into them twice

The first was when we did a huge friendly operation with the CQF and the UN basically PMed me saying that they have every right to TAKE OVER as we lack experience In the game (2 years on the mod and 6 monthes SA not good enough for them)

I said it was best they didn't attend yet they still joined the server

The second time I happened upon a server with around 10 UN members online and ran into 4 guys in zelenogorsk

Seeing as only 3 other players were not UN at least one guy must have been with them

Long story short, I went down and called out to them, they started looking around without a word and when I peeked out from a wall without my weapon drawn one spotted me and took some M4 shots and got me once or twice so I backed off saying "screw this I thought you guys were alright"

Still no response, I tried to get away, the followed, killed one and the others killed me

After I was dead they called me a "dumb shit, if you hadn't fired back at us we would have let you live"

I had a very similar situation? Was that like 1-2 months ago on a high pop server. Because we had a battle in the exact same location as you and there were tons of random people there too.

Yeah it was around that time but I didn't see very many random people because I was to scared running from the UN clan. The only thing I know about them is they are very persistent

More of a sidenote / a bit offtopic: God dammit, how can you establish a certain set of clothing if people even abuse that :D

 

Still in favor that groups with friendly aspects or rather hero groups and so on favor UN gear in the game. The best "card" is still a name. If people know groups and can identify them (or they do it on their own) then that's a bigger or the biggest plus than any clothing or so on. Unless groups start picking uniforms.

EDIT: Seriously though, there's a lot of UN themed clans out there. Some of them never even claim to be friendly, so deal with it.
