goldtoaster 30 Posted July 13, 2014 I'm sure the MP5 is rarer than the AK. I found 2 AKs in a row just hours ago in the Balota long barracks. You have to remember that there's always a chance that location has been thoroughly looted. I've checked dozens of police stations as well. I just managed to find one in a town nobody ever visits. I mean do all weapons spawn as they supposed to (now I mean) or is there something bugged in game that makes them more rare than developers intended? My guess is that the devs want to limit the availability of perceived firepower. Automatic weaponry has gradually become more rare. M4s used to spawn in police stations. Then they were moved to heli crashes and replaced with the AKM.Then the AKM stopped spawning in civvy areas and moved to military installations.And now you have the MP5K, which replaces the AKM in civvyland but is kind-of-maybe rare. Acher0n 39 Posted July 13, 2014 I've had an Mp5 but no mags. You cant even load a single round in either. I've never seen an AK, ever, or any mags. The only thing ive seen are wooden and folding buttstocks. Probably been a good 10 hours since I last saw an M4. Every weapon in this game seems to be sks or mosin. Maybe a week ago I had even posted a pic of one run through an unlooted svetlo, yielding 3 MP5Ks and 1 15 round magazine. They almost exclusively spawn on Police Cars, svetlo is a good place to look because there are 4 or 5 police cars around, then also the small chance of them spawning in the station. Novo is also good, with I think 4 cars, but they are more spread out and Novo is usually more dangerous. Out of the maybe 8 MP5s (estimate) I have found, only 1 was actually inside the station. It's a great combo to run around with a mosin and mp5. Most of the time I've been shot at it's either from so far away you can barely see who's shooting you or like 10-20 feet. MP5 will drop anyone instantly at close range. The only thing that doesn't get ruined is the gun they're holding. That was until a bug deleted my MP5 from my bags. Filed a bug report and it's a known issue for large items to disappear due to bag reorganization on login. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Scofflaw 73 Posted July 13, 2014 I found 2 mp5s so far, and I managed to find a mag too. I also finally found the longhorn. For some reason, the next time I logged in the longhorn was gone, and the next time I logged my mp5 vanished. Oh well. I'm not a big fan of the 9mm round, but overall I like it for close quarters.
