are there plans for any kind of transport in DAYZ as it takes such along time to get anywhere

also are there any plans to enable some kind of save as it is really frustrating when you die and have to start from scratch

Yes, there are plans for vehicles, and no, there will not be a save feature.

This is on purpose, it is by design. It is supposed to be that way, and it is the reason so many people play this game.

It makes it tense. It gives you something to lose and something to protect.

I've heard this as well, as too how soon they will be implemented is still up in the air, but they will be in before motorized vehicles.

When they put in tents it would be partially saving,you will be able to put your gear in tent and if you die you have reserve...

I think they gave a general aim of hitting 'beta' by december. So will hopefully be sometime in the next 6 months
