Wait, proximity alert?  Is that what that chain is?  I thought it was a network thing.

 

I was in Staroye trying to loot some food but no food was around only items and in the red brick building I find a paper and black pen so what the hell I write "ur a f*" on it and on my way to check out popo station.

 

In popo station I got no message received for 15...16...17...18

 

Player is losing connection...

 

So on my guard, I rush to check out the city and vicinity but none to be see around, in my search of potential player I went to the red brick building and I decided to check my note that I wrote.

And I read: "f* you, ur a f*

What is status with FPS?

 

I get lower FPS with every new patch.

 

Before 0.47, Solnichniy 20-25, now i get 10-20, most time is 13-15FPS.

 

I actually dont care for new stuff like ragdoll and a couple of new animations, but where is fix for inventory color bug? Two exp and one stable patch and its still present.

Cant run from crouch position, still some rubberbanding and desync.

 

Need to press about twenty times a button on keyboard to player use an item in hand.

I know the feeling. Eventually they're gonna fix the inventory completely, and just about all the bugs in it. That means duplicating, items not cooperating, and the touchiness of picking up loot. I think some of the inventory issues will be solved when 64-bit servers come out. A bunch of the problems are server-related.

Hold on so this "no message received" thing can or does happen when you get near another player? That's pretty lame, no wonder I've not seen anyone in game for hours before it does that.

Everytime I join lately it seems a tad smoother and more fluid with the movements.. the only things Im not seeing getting better are FPS, but its not really that much worse either.

 

Cant wait for next patch, I feel like its going to be a really good one. 

Don't expect FPS improvements until the new engine's implementation starts. You might see very little changes (good or bad) in client FPS during the next few updates, but those are more of side effects rather than intentional.

until what implementation starts? You do know that for all intents and purposes we are playing on the 'new' engine right now? That its not so much a new engine, but a rework of the old engine...

Yes I do. A gut of our current engine and rewrite to include things such as DX 10 & 11, Multi-Thread support, Hyperthreading support, Multi-GPU support, etc...   Ya know, things that help make a game look beautiful, while improving game performance...

Cooking on gas not working properly. goes directly from raw to burned

 

raw ---> burned

 

with fireplace works fine

 

raw ---> cooked ---> burned.

See, now that just left me wondering if you can adjust the flame on the stove the same way you can adjust the range on a scope with pg up/down.  Stand back, I am about to do science...

I must say this patch has been the most stable one yet. No lags or desyncs, other players have been killing me just fine. i do notice some random explosions?

Random explosions you say? Must be in the same server as me... Its a clan rule that we have to blow up every gas station we pass. And it blows up again when someone logs in. It won't do it every single time but it's triggered randomly by people logging in. So that may be your random explosions.. :P

I am the only one that see constant stream of " player is losing connection" "player time out" "player has been kicked"

wrong signature for dz.pbo = ban gg lol

?

Random explosions you say? Must be in the same server as me... Its a clan rule that we have to blow up every gas station we pass. And it blows up again when someone logs in. It won't do it every single time but it's triggered randomly by people logging in. So that may be your random explosions.. :P

 

Stupid question but how do you blow them up? I tried shooting one with a magnum twice(not totally sure I hit it though was far away) and nothing happened, do you need to empty a whole mag or shoot somewhere specific because I NEED TO DO IT ALL THE TIME NOW.

5 rnds with an SKS/AKM to the pump will do it. 3 rnds with the Mosin. Not sure about pistols.

There are those x64 experimental servers but I don't see any difference on them

Please don't call it x64 and call it 64 bit. Even if the servers do run on a x64 processors its still improper.
