Player proximity alert is still there.

 

But now instead of red chain warning you are 'losing connection' for 10-30 seconds and this mean some player is within 300-500 meters from you.

didn't hat any connectionlose the past days and i had quiet a few player encounters  - pressin P and lookin for desync gives u still a idea if u join playersbubble, but tbh, who's runnin all time with open playerlist.

Maybe it is only on potato computers like mine.

 

But every time I "lose connection" for like 10-30 seconds there is a player nearby that have just entered my space 100-500 meters away from me by running in or spawning within this range.

 

PS.

 

Bandwidth bump while two players network bubbles collide and exchange information that you can see while scouting player list is another problem imho.

indeed could be possible some computerrs/connection actin like this when desync pops high/players get synced, idk.

My PC is like that.

 

I could join some bandit squad and be 'the detector'

 

"Hey guys I got connection problems, be on your guard there is some player nearby!" :D

Can you take a picture of that because someone els said that that didn't work either

As i picked up a knife, i thought it was the combatknife, without lookin in the description, turnd out it was just a M9A1 Bayonet wich doesnt fit into shoes.

 

Sorry i distributed wrong informations, in fact, u can put a combatknife in your shoes.

Actually for now camping while pressing P and observing your desynch/bandwidth transfer anomalies is kinda better then scouting your surroundings with eyes.

 

When you detect anomaly in your bandwidth transfer/desynch then you should close player list and start looking around imho.

Does it work with all types of millitary grade boots ? There are combat, jungle stompers and millitary boots

Also I kinda feel that thr M91A Bayonet should fit cause it has a handle and looks very similiar to a combat knife

That's the reason i thought it's the combat knife - but yeh, you'r totally right, Bayonet should fit too.

At the moment only the military boots can handle the combat knife, wich is also a bit weird to me

not sure if you were making a joke here, but... well, hah, I also wonder why did they decide to ignore fatigue and stamina in DayZ. It really makes it possible to run fresh-spawned from Kamyshovo all the way to the NWAF without starving and stopping.

Probably to combat not having vehicles. We run as fast as a bicyclist in a Tour de France race.

the shuffle walk with melee weapon raised is shit terrible.

I don't mind having to stand up to run, I don't mind bleeding more often (maybe that's just my bad luck though lol) I don't mind the fps drop in cities that I have now.

I do mind when I swing an axe and go to side step and my character moves like a hobbled plantation escapee.

I'll remember to stand up before sprinting, I'll carry more rags and I'll even avoid the cities but for fucks sake change the walking speed with melee raised back to where it was

Everytime I join lately it seems a tad smoother and more fluid with the movements.. the only things Im not seeing getting better are FPS, but its not really that much worse either.

 

Cant wait for next patch, I feel like its going to be a really good one.

Same here. My FPS are pretty much the same as previous patches (guys need to wait on new rendering engine for this to get better). But switching weapons, moving indoors, crouching, and general melee combat just seems a little bit smoother for me. Hard to really say this particular patch made the difference, but it's just gotten better.

Arma 3 also has stamina/fatigue system so I see no reason why not make it possible in DayZ..

the stamina fatigue in arma 3 is terrible ^^ plz not the same shit in dayz

Will that status sometimes change back and the bodies remain lying again?

I really miss the feeling and I think the game lost a lot from his

Your opinion is shared by many and it is and was already discussed in the suggestions.

 

Maybe bodies will remain on the ground till restart when they add tents to the game. Maybe.
