The great M4 delete

So the day of the patch all of the m4 ammo i had in my ammo can is bugged so it disappears when you try to load it in a mag...then a few days later I log in to find my M4 and all it's attachment are missing....I guess Dean and co wanted the M4 gone pretty badly. maybe they could have just gave me another gun in place of it....it took me a long time to set that M4 up so it resembeled the real AR-15 I own.

 

Plus, they keep adding stupid unimportant stuff and at the saem time screw up important game play mechanics like the long range scope being useless now....WTF.

How is the LRS useless?

 

And the ammo you are referring to is probably the already glitched 60 stack of ammo, which wasn't even supposed to happen.  And the M4 is still in the game, it just sounds like you've been alpha'ed, which you know is going to happen every time you start up the game, therefore making this thread totally useless.

M4s and it's parts/ammo now spawn at Helicopter crashes only, stacked M4s rounds of 60 automatically get split-ed into their respective 30 round stacks but if you don't have enough room they will disappear. Also, LRSs aren't useless at all, you must be referring to the sway that has been added but is bugged so it sways out of control. You should read up more instead of thinking that things are being fucked up by Devs.

The M4 was favored by lots of people for this game and devs screwed it up. Cant wait for thi to be modded. I dont want some stupid Russian piece of crap. They should put in more crash sites ASAP!!!!

Crash sites are pretty common once you get inland.

Also relatign to op, there seems to be an epidemic of hackers exploiting something in the loot system, enabling them to access all loot on the server. I'm pretty sure it was fixed in exp but I could be wrong.

My LRS works just fine, so does my M4 and if I split my stacks of 60 5.56 I am good to go.  I like having an AKM though so I dumped my M4 in a pond on stable.

I don't understand what is wrong, everyone was complaining that the M4 doesn't really belong in this eastern European setting and we need an AK.

Now they finally give us the most powerful AK with a sniper scope and you guys still complain.

Different people complain about different things. I hate the AKM, to be quite honest. It looks and feels like shit compared to an M4.

With semi auto the M4 is easy to use up to ~700m. Without you can´t hit a barn above 100m :D 

Besides that the M4 is just a weak weapon compared to the AKM/SKS hell even a 1911 is more feared by me. I survived a lot of M4 engagements but SKS and especially the AKM downs me in two bullets. But hey there was something with the status of this game and someone I think he was called Dean or was it Hicks said, the M4 is a placeholder to test attachments. I don´t know maybe such things are common for an alpha build? /sarcasm 

Test the game and do what you should do by doing so or don´t buy and play it yet. But  complaining is just mental. :)

in all of recorded warfare, only 7 people have achieved a confirmed kill at 2000 meters or greater.

Now, I will grant you that dispersion is bullshit. I constantly complain about it. Call it one of my "pet peeves".

But even the typical military SNIPER (not your average grunt) cant pull off a shot that far. Only the most elite, god-like shooters in the world can claim that kind of ability.

So, while I WOULD like to be able to hit a target with a well aimed, SKILLFUL shot at ranges of 4-500 meters without random dispersion sending my bullet willy nilly, 2000 meters is a BIT much of an expectation....

Unless it was a typo and you meant to say two HUNDRED, and not two thousand...in which case I completely agree with you....

Same i could give a rats ass about allot of these Russian weapons. Just make my M4A1 the way its meant to be. A powerful and accurate weapon. It may not pack the punch of the AK 74 but it makes up the power in accuracy of the gun.

I never liked the Russian weapons to begin with.

 

That being said that doesn't mean however i don't like other things Russian made. I like the camo gear they have been coming out with. The Gorka gear, and new blue winter tiger camo is amazing, I love the police uniforms and hats. Oh and the Russians have some great gasmask designs for military. Theres allot of designs not even put in game yet that they have even covered yet.

That would depend on the persons ability to use the weapon and what kind of weather conditions he or she was firing under i would assume.

why does the AK need a fucking sniper scope. It makes NO sense, IRL the AK is one of the most inaccurate weapons in the world!!! Why didnt they just put a red dot sight on it? People need to learn about weapon characteristics before putting bs scopes in thr game

Its inaccurate but it has stopping power and thats the trade off.

 

That being said i agree that it is not the end all be all weapon. There are i would assume much better Russian weapons in terms of accuracy. Hell maybe even an AK modern variant that is better suited for that.

Those are general areas in which they can be found. Somebody posted in another topic a map which pinpointed the exact location of all of them, and they are over 70. But search in those general areas and you will find some.
