meat burning / cooking info

i have tried several times to cook meat, but it goes from raw to burned...never cooked...i watch it the whole time.

 

i tried heating the pot/pan first then letting meat cook but it gets full red(the meat) then goes invisible while i try to quickly grab the damn thing, then it reappears to be burnt....

 

fuck hunting and cooking for now.

Cooking meat in pot will not work, you would need butter or oil for that and those are not in game yet.

 

Try to cook the meat in the fireplace, it works for me.

Can you cook anything else in the fireplace? I was able to do meat but couldn't get any of my potatoes to bake. They turned red background, but never became cooked.

there were no notes of cooking oil supposed to be in the game...

fish works in a pot. Never tried with a pan tho.

Has anyone else had an issue with cooking on a full(ish) server? I tried cooking today and after my fire burned out I gave up. Yesterday on a low pop server it worked just fine.

dont you need water in the pot ?

 

cooking meat works on a wood fire, for sure, don't need container
