Me and a friend where hiking way up North and we came upon something that was not on a single map (experimental branch).

a freaking golden castle! There was not much loot tough, just the regular beans and clothing. But it looked pretty awesome.

If I'm not mistaken you've actually found Devil's Castle and it's northeast of the northwest airfield.

Devil's castle is not gold, but its even further north, heading towards debug.

How come you only took pictures of the inside of the tower? A little context via surroundings would go a long way in helping figure out where it was.

Tip one,it can be done with allot of rocks and buildings and it is not post process manipulation (aka photoshop), it can be done ingame.
