gqren 49 Posted June 16, 2014 Thanks both, my settings all stayed the same, but my character got reset. Lost lots of good gear but i can live with it. Its a bugger but.....Alpher I suppose. @Gugolas My steam games after a patch often go missing. Its very irregular but It does happen to many folk. They are still "there" but the link connecting Steam to the game sometimes gets lost. It seems to happen more if you have other "steam game" directories. AFAIK its nothing sinister. Rgds LoKI've had the random uninstall of DayZ happen to me to and it had to have been because I had separate directories at the time (Steam on my system driveand the library on my storage) didn't realise it at the time though. You say it can happen to any games in your library, and at random?Hello there I had it happen often at one stage with Ro2 when I was a closed tester for "Rising Storm" as well as other games. It usually happened after a Steam update. It's not just a DAYZ issue. It possibly might be an Hdd error / sign of fail, but dont quote me on that.
