Right so the main things that people seem to go on about is:

 

DURR, DIS GUN IS BETTA DAN DAT GUN:

Can't we just say they all have their own pro's and cons :c ?

Mosin:

+Highest damage in game (to my knohowisim)

+Only gun that can have the LRS

+Best accuracy in game

-Lowest rifle mag capacity

-No possible reload method (strip clips SKS, Mags M4)

-Bolt action (thus slowest rifle)

 

M4:

+Highest mag count (60 bullets)

+Switchable Auto/Single fire for either mid/short range situations

+Versatile customisation

-Accuracy requires custom parts to be effective past 100M+

-Extremely low damage

 

SKS:

Best of Mosin with the semi-auto of the M4 but the worst of both guns TL;DR

 

X game is better than Standalone!!!!111111oneoneone

 

Well, each game has it's own priorities for what comes first, I suppose. Each one also has it's own thing out at the moment, so stuff of one game may appeal to you more than what SA has to offer, while SA has it's own appeal to people in it's own way. Why's that so hard to comprehend D: ? Also other games are in other stages of development, Breaking point is also early alpha but it has good shooting mechanics, vehicles and 'okay' zombies. Though it's built off of ARMA 3 so they have a lot of stuff done for them (though they make their own models for stuff too!)

 

I'm angry because I spent money on something that I don't like >:(

'unno, I suppose some would get up'n arms if they're really attached to this game for whatever reason. Only issue is that there's no point in criticising the game in the GD forum, why not search for other's suggestions as someone else probably thought of it before you and support their idea? Bonus points for using reddit since they like that community more (for the time being) and seem to pay more attention to that (I believe)·

 

No patchnotes, devs don't even come to these forums, WTF WHY?!

 

Well, patchnotes change constantly so if they can't push something to stable for X reasons, people will take them right to the guillotine because they couldn't push PJ pants or something. Plus gives them more time to work on doing more productive things and some people have said they enjoy not having patchnotes so they can figure out what they're going into themselves!

 

Though I'd agree on having notes/devblogs about underlaying changes (network/FPS etc) because those are harder to notice/test. Which they seem to normally do anyhow!

 

 

I hope these answer/resolve some of the issues people have here :c I think if we become a more positive community, the devs won't be so scared to come back to posting here like how they used to :3 so waddya say we try improving this place a bit eh \o/?
