I never lost my faith in people in dayz no matter how bad things got in some servers.

I hopped on the experimental branch the other day and the first to people i met helped me and gave me ammo for my guns.

Just don't they will use the girl advantage just as they do in real life. They are all mantis, they will bite your head off the second you drop your guard. 

Shoot on sight is now in full effect. 

I am currently about one month on one character. Why ? Because I keep the guys will melee weapons at the distance and give them a warning, and I shoot anyone carrying a fire arm on sights. If they shout friendly and come closer than 10 meters I drop them, hose them down with hot lead. Take no chances. Like taco86 said, pre emptive strike if they are dead before they can become a threat than all the better for it. And yes some good honest people will be caught in crossfire. But I'd rather kill few innocent that die myself to some treacherous asshole.
