Khanarac 252 Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) Why would we not KoS? What's the pont then? I HATE the endless waves of friendlies in experimental, those bastards come around the corner yelling "friendly friendly" and they mean it, and that's the worst part. I mostly can't kill them then. I'm a KoSer but I'm a gentlemen too. I'm looking to kill squads that are up for some trouble, and not whiny sissies like DcPAradoX who's feelings are severly hurt when killed. Where are the damned clans up for a challenge? Since SA killed DayZero, I have to spend my time with you hippies, and kill you while I look for challenging opponents.DayZ was always about PvP and it will always be. The survival parts have always been somewhat weak, and they still are in 0.45.And your feelings shouldn't be hurt when you die. Dying is the most essential part of the game. This is what I'm looking for in DayZ (action starts at about 1:20) and this http://www.twitch.tv/break71/b/539094258 watch atleast the 1st 3min to get a taste of whats coming. DCpAradoX 16 Posted June 17, 2014 Here we go again. I'll keep it simple: 1. PvP requires a lot of skill whether you like it or not. (...)If you want semi-realistic experience look for hardcore role playing servers and get bored to death. Jesus tap-dancing Christ on a moped, when did I ever say PvP doesn't require skills?!? Of freakin' course PvP requires skills - unless you're just killing unarmed fresh-spawns or people who don't fight back for any reason. But that's not the point and never was! The point is that whether you like KOS-style PvP in DayZ isn't decided by your skill level. You could be the worst player ever and still love DayZ PvP - the notion that everyone who dislikes it must be bad at the game is strange and stupid. And if you honestly can't have fun in DayZ without guns I feel sorry for you because you're really missing out. bla bla bla (...) whiny sissies like DcPAradoX who's feelings are severly hurt when killed. (...) bla bla bla (...) DayZ was always about PvP and it will always be. The survival parts have always been somewhat weak (...) Ha ha. It's like you don't even know how to read! NinjaTurkey 255 Posted June 17, 2014 I play this game in the hopes of getting that zombie experience we were given as a MAIN pitch to the game repeatedly by Dean and other ppl quoted on being the end all be all zombie/infected game. I still have yet to experience it.I guess your another that doesnt understand the different stages a game goes through. Its in alpha, whocares if this "excuse" is overused. Its the truth, but i guess gou dont wanna hear the truth.
Khanarac 252 Posted June 17, 2014 Well he says he has yet to experience it, and thats the truth aswell, isnt it? I don't see how his post ist negative or hostile. He seems to be waiting for the game to change as promised.

And interaction is all fine and dandy - I'm all for that, really - but a dangerously high number of players treats Chernarus like it's the freakin' Thunderdome and that's not how things should play out. Funny how you didn't quote the rest of my post.:I can still have fun hunting you down with a bow or even a rusty knife. Don't need guns for killing terribads. DCpAradoX 16 Posted June 17, 2014 Most people dislike PvP because they're bad at it. No. You are delusional if you really think that and there's no point in discussing this any further. I can still have fun hunting you down with a bow or even a rusty knife. Don't need guns for killing terribads. I have killed players who tried that before and I will do it again should the occasion arise.
brumey 116 Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) killing someone leaves a bad taste in my mind! but sometimes ist the only Option. ist either you or them! i had to run away from the airfield, log out and smoke a bong after the kill! alsmir 255 Posted June 17, 2014 No. You are delusional if you really think that and there's no point in discussing this any further. Why people dislike PvP? Because it causes problems for them = they get killed often. So here are 2 options:Either they die a lot because they want to PvP themselves and they just lack experience. = they're bad at it and trying to improve Or they die a lot while trying to avoid PvP completly. = they're bad because they won't stay away from dangerous places (Berezino, Elektro or whatever we have now) or they do stupid things (using loud weapons when looting) Simple logic. Feel free to deny everything rather than thinking about it for a minute.

DCpAradoX 16 Posted June 17, 2014 Okay, this is going to be my last reply in this thread because we're obviously getting nowhere and because I feel bad enough already for kinda "hi-jacking" it in the first place. Feel free to deny everything rather than thinking about it for a minute. Many, if not most, people who dislike PvP in DayZ feel this way because it's not what they want from a survival game. Why is this concept so a hard for you to grasp? The game could (and should) be hard as fuck and it wouldn't matter to them - dying a lot is not the problem here. So, option nr 2.Unless you don't get killed yourself but you're still mad because somewhere 5km away from you nameless bambi gets killed even if it doesn't affect you. Btw, PvP is a part of survival, especially in DayZ. Deal with it.
