Fragamemnon 13 Posted June 3, 2014 Felt bad for killing this guy at NEAF. I was in a hanger looking for ammo and sodas, and along goes this guy trailing three zeds while he is trying to reload his M4. I put away my silenced pistol and pull out my M4, drop one zed, then two and he goes behind the building. I raced around and saw him getting pummeled. I told him to run away so I could get a clear shot. He did, and I took down the last Z. As I reloaded he turned to me and shot twice. I told him put the gun away, I was friendly and just saved his ass when he took the third shot. I brought up my M4 again and let loose with a volley which put him down. As I approached to render first aid, he was yelling "sorry sorry I didn't mean to shoot at you, I was putting my gun away." I had the IV and saline out when he died. I wasn't mad about his shooting at me, just defending myself, and was still going to help him after I put a few into him to stop him, (and was going to disarm him too) but he just didn't last..
odin_lowe 3686 Posted June 3, 2014 Overall you did a great job. You helped him and he still shot you, so don't feel bad for putting him down. Thanks for sharing your story!
infiltrator 275 Posted June 3, 2014 If I was crazy enough to actually help out someone I don't know in NEAF of all places, I definitely wouldn't have given him a 2nd chance after he tried to shoot me.. I'm guessing he'd end up with broken legs, naked and handcuffed.
So Sexy 259 Posted June 3, 2014 Still no separate forum for those stories? Shame.

Your sin will be absolved my child. Just transfer the amount of money you deem necessary to my bank account and you are free of sin.
Briljin 102 Posted June 3, 2014 No reason to feel bad, most players probably would have dropped him while he was fighting the Zeds. At least you helped him out and only returned fire after he became hostile.
AlphaDogMeat . 493 Posted June 3, 2014 Ah, the old "I was just putting my gun away" ploy. Classic.
eadaif 34 Posted June 3, 2014 What a waste of a saline bag.
Scofflaw 73 Posted June 3, 2014 Everyone is friendly once the tables are turned. He probably would have talked trash on his mic if he had better aim and killed you.
liquidsnake 275 Posted June 3, 2014 He probably wanted to kill you anyway. He should've waited for a better moment, that's all. You shouldn't feel bad in the least
theevancat 94 Posted June 3, 2014 I've shot someone at NWAF before realizing that I didn't want to and I helped him up. Made him leave his weapons, gave him an IV and some morphine for his legs, and told him to come back in five minutes for his stuff while I ran off. I guess I wasn't alone feeling like that.
