slippery gypsy 107 Posted May 30, 2014 topic says it all i would like to suggest the .22 sporter is able to be cut down pistol grip and barrel ... would look wicked especially with 30 clip and become more manouverable for zombie killing i personally love the little plinker and if it were possible to cut down you would most likely find me in game with a black tracksuit some sort of mask and teabagging a cut down sporter .... anyone else interested in other weapons being also sawn offs most likely and realistically the shotty the sporter and sks are the only 3 that would be purposeful .. love to know what other think about the subject ... qww 287 Posted May 30, 2014 sawn off is good for shotgun because it increases the dispersion of the cartridge at close range, id imagine if you sawed off a 22 rifle it woudl make it less accurate, and if youre going to use something as weak as a 22, u at least want it to be accurate. try the amphibia pistol maybe, it is 22 pistol in game
terminal_boy 860 Posted May 30, 2014 Saw off a .22 sporter and you get the damage of the Amphibia with a lot more noise.
BeefBacon 1185 Posted May 30, 2014 How about sawing off the stock? Slight increase in recoil but you can store it in a bag.
slippery gypsy 107 Posted May 31, 2014 exactly cut it down so it can fit in a bag ... who cares about noise or dispersion ...the sporter needs more love its only good for 50-100m at best so its not like accuracy is much of a concern .... the fact that its cut down purely suggest its for close range anyway 30 rounds semi auto brilliant clearly i should just use a m4
thedogfoodyayho 295 Posted May 31, 2014 Sounds fun. I imagine it would look a little like those Civilian M1 Carbines with folding stocks from the '50s.Also wish we could cut down the Mosin and Blazer. But the SKS can't be sawed-off due to it's mechanism. (That "Secound Barrel" above the real one Isn't for looks)
AP_Norris 1018 Posted May 31, 2014 The sights would be awkward if you saw off the barrel, I think stock only is the logical way to go.
