Good place to get a gun?

Everywhere I've been going lately I've been getting murdered by guns mighty quickly, so I wanted to get a gun myself so I can defend myself if I get shot at. Haven't played properly in a while, and I've noticed some new buildings and new loot spawns.

I just said what buildings to go to. xD Anyways, you should go to Balota, Northwest Airfield, Military base that is North of Kamenka, Military Base that is North of Veresnik which is West of Kabanino, Vybor, and Lopatino...the list goes on man. Just go North. :)

As it has always been, airfields. Other than that, police stations, barns, piano buildings.

There is one place to look that most overlook.. car trunks and truck beds. Also, just head west away from the population and loot towns that have not been looted already and you will find one. :)

Guns are everywhere now.  The brick buildings with a door on both ends are spawning them.  Cafe/corner buildings often have a mosic B95 or shotgun in the bedroom upstairs.  Barns and Piano buildings have all the civilian rifles.

 

Get inland towards Dolina and Polana.  You are likely to find something.
