You're in Novy Sobor, next to Stary Sobor. If you head North West for around 3 clicks or so you should hit North West Airfield.

Dead serious. You could simply look up the cyrillic alphabet if you don't know the letters.

Want a cheap trick? You got a smart phone, right?

Download Google Translate and change settings to Russian-English and use the app and snap a picture of your screen, while looking at the road sign in 1st-Person. It's not 100% accurate, but it will give you the name of the place, maybe a tad bit misspelled. But atleast you can put it all together and get a better idea what town or city you are in.

I don't believe in god so that mind frame is irrelevant to me.

Besides that shits all scribble to me to LOL. But you know just start memorizing major land marks on your travels. Makes getting lost allot less likely.

After playing for a while, plus having the actually really useful 'Russian Cheat Sheet' book in your inventory, you can kinda read the town names and translate them yourself.

Looked like you were pretty lost with the whole "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP MEEEE!!!", haha! Hopefully you've probably found your way to civilization now though!

Exactly. This would be my first move. Download the iZurvive app in the App Store or use the DayZ online map for orientation.

Enjoy being lost, it'sone of the best parts of the game until you memorize every damn small patch of trees and bunch of hills in the land.

iZurvive is a great app for navigating Chernarus.  Search function lists all towns and cities in Cyrillic and English with map locations.

Know exactly what you mean, the days of being completely lost are the best days.

I find it very relaxing, no annoying people, but zombies are bugging me.

Press shift+tab which opens steam overly. Down the bottom is "web browser", click on that and type into google izurvive.com. When izurvive comes up click on the search icon in the top bar and a list of cities will come up with Russian and English version.

Now all you need to do is press shift+tab to close and open the map as needed

Now give me your beans.
