HecticKris 0 Posted May 22, 2014 I only just purchased dayz like last week and was wondering, How long does it usually take before an experimental patch gets released as stable? Some of the new features look awesome.
odin_lowe 3686 Posted May 22, 2014 Honestly it varies greatly. Some experimental builds lasted 3 weeks before being released on stable, while on one occasion, it took only a few days. There's only been about 6 or 7 experimental test/builds so there's not much to make of it. And yes some features are great! I really like the new animations for running with your weapon down or the new crouch stance and movement animation. Less rubberbanding too and new sounds for footsteps depending on the surface and environment. It's getting better and better!!

odin_lowe 3686 Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) There's quite a few more servers than there used to be. At first there was about 3 or 4 Exp servers, but now, about 15-20. Edit: These are the ones I added to my Favs. Edited May 22, 2014 by Odin Lowe
IkaikaKekai 1957 Posted May 22, 2014 IF everything works out right it can go to stable in as little as a week. (Notice the size of the 'if'.)

randomspawn 215 Posted May 22, 2014 I guess, Dallas ;)Yeah, think it's Dallas, as I have really good pings to the Dal servers, typically the same I get with TX and Central servers as well(40-60ms). I see a slight increase with East and West servers, up to 80-90ms.
brumey 116 Posted May 22, 2014 I guess, Dallas ;) weird i have good ping on those Servers. but i am from EU! the LA Servers have like ping 400 but the DAL Servers are between 80 and

Yeah, this. Their new policy seems to be to aim for the end of the month for stable releases. Anything is possible though.
