darkspecialistE4 4 Posted May 13, 2014 kk see the word standalone a alot, i assume this is a single player game? some servers dont go into 3rd person view..is this a server side thing not enabled? how to communicate when people dont talk back? typing? totally interested in hardcore servers, more frighting of a game in my opinion...can i go from one hard core server to the next on the same character and visa versa for regular servers? regular servers you can die multiple times? how do i change my display name in game? how much time do you give to another player before you trust? have so many questions that will come up so lost so excited to explore Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Hardcore servers are 1PP, Regular servers are 3PP. Yep, press "/" key to type. Hardcore servers are separate from Regular servers. I'm curious as to how you're interested in Hardcore servers when you weren't sure of the difference. You can only die once per character on either Hardcore or Regular. applejaxc 2500 Posted May 13, 2014 No, it's quite multi-player. Hardcore servers are 1PP, Regular servers are 3PP. To be a little more clear:1: Offline play is not supported at the moment (and isn't planned). The closest you can get to emulating it is to run your own, 1-person, password-protected server. At the moment, private servers of that kind are not supported either.2: 1PP means you can only play in first person. If you want to get sweet panoramic shots of your character with the sun rising behind him, play regular. If you want to play a little more realistically/immersively, play hardcore. No, You have one character on hardcore and one character on regular. Both characters when killed will spawn back on the coast, this can happen indefinitely. You CANNOT use your regular character (and gear) on HC server and vice versa. Hope that clarifies it for you. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
