And when I give it a name, that means I am really attached to it and I won't let it go for NOTHING. Mosin PU is my baby. If I have one and you touch it, YOU DED. It is named Chris. Bororm 1156 Posted May 11, 2014 I haven't named mine but I've thought about it and made the suggestion in the past that it would be cool to be able to label items or at least weapons. Sure you'd probably end up with a lot of really stupid stuff involving tons of derogatory language, but it would still be fun and offer some more attachment towards gear. Definitely have had occasions where my group has tried to hang on to some particular weapon, to the point of it's the last man standing's job to get the thing if all goes south. Anyone else name guns?In the Corps my rifles name was Allie. My sidearm was Alison. Because you know.. alice pack. ;) And once I had to carry a LAW. I named her Lucy. Her full name was Lucy Lawless, but nobody ever got that joke. In the game Ive never named anything other than my engraved 1911. That one is MY PRECIOUS.
