Would you want back the reloading sounds when connecting?

There has to be some sound at login. 

 

If i have cleared a building, i should feel safe, that there is nobody in there. Now i can clear the first floor of something like the jail building go downstairs and then suddenly there is someone coming down from the first floor which i have checked already. 

 

And without sound, it is so easy for players to ghost someone. 

 

 

If you dont want to be heared at login, then dont log out at buildings and high traffic areas

 

The thing is, I don't logout in high traffic areas or buildings but with an audible sound coming from my location when I login it just makes me a sitting duck for the person who happens to pass by while I'm logging in.

 

He sure as shit doesn't see me but he can hear me. Really? No thanks!

 

Like I said it was a a sound that wasn't supposed to be there and they removed it, a bug that was fixed. So how about pretend it was never there and it won't be missed.  ;)

I think this is a terrible idea , it's stupidly unrealistic ? We already have the unrealistic "spawn in wherever you log off" which is there obviously cuz we don't wanna have a new character per server , but if you already have the upper hand by controlling a highly populated building with a squad fully geared, then you shouldn't have to have more help taking out 1-3 guys who just spawned in ... I mean c'mon guys if you're going to be camping you have to realize people are going to do anything to get you after you've killed them over and over again .. I say no reloading sounds when you log in , there's already 2 minutes of lag when you log in why handicap us even more by bringing back those ridiculous log in sounds ?

And in my opinion it goes like this : people who are camping can take a building yes but who's to say in real life the guy who "logged in on the second floor " didnt just climb into a window or what if he was hiding somewhere and you just didnt find him .. There are many ways in real life one could sneak into a second story room , so lets not say that that would be impossible in real life (to sneak into the second story room without being seen by the squad) just because you campers wanna be safe and secure in your favorite buildings .. And as for the people that purposely go on empty servers to then log back into a populated server in the area where bandits are hiding I say they have a hard enough time with the lag when they log on so if they wanna cheat like that so be it but they will most likely die .. So to sum it up I hate the reloading sounds upon log in because they are unrealistic, nobody reloads their gun as soon as they wake up lol

Those are defending the system of ghosting are the firsts are abusing of the glitch...

 

If do you have troubles on survive then spawn on the woods, spawn on a barn....spawn nearby a military base, where you can see from distance if doors are closed. But do not spawn inside of them and being happy not be heard.

 

If i'm a guy that is defending a building and is being attacked both from guys outside and both by someone spawning inside on floors that aren't occupied, i'm gonna rage

 

Do you also know guys that exists with over dozens of people that split money for a single copy of DAYZ to have a fresh spawn spotter?

I know an italian clan with over 20 members, where each member paid around 1 Euro to contribute to make a spotter char for the clan. They use it to spawn inside the buildings. Also, when char spawn for the first time there is no more chace to load and you can see around you if there are players in other floors.

 

 

So pls, don't defend the system because you do abuse of it because you aren't able to survive properly.

I hope you're kidding, because otherwise you're failing logic hard. How is it more realistic to be able to teleport behind someone who has already cleared the building? It isn't, it's completely because of game mechanics, and therefore there needs to be a game mechanic that makes it less good. Arguing against it for realism when the thing it's meant to prevent is unrealistic is just dumb.

Must have sound. Whoever claims differently hasn't thought it through. Still, sound must be non-threatening and unique, (yawn or woosh or something) cause otherwise it might add to the confusion ("Did u just load? No did u?")

Only if we can spawn in crouching or prone, then the sound should be restored.

 

As is, having to spawn in standing up makes you an easy target and causes every zombie within 500m to run towards you, which is more than enough of a giveaway.

I think one of two things need to happen.

 

1) You can't log out in certain "zones", if you are accidentally disconnected you spawn at the closet point outside of the zone you were in.

 

or

 

2) Bring back the log in noise.

 

It's pretty unfair to clear a building only to have someone spawn behind you without penalty and shoot you in the back. The loading sound was fine for me and TBH I couldn't give a shit what noise it was as long as there is a distinguishable noise. The gun reloading sound could be negated by unloading your gun before exiting the server.
