Crazy_Spider 235 Posted May 5, 2014 Hi. This is something that I've wanted to do many times. It's an extra use for rags, that could be super cool. My idea is, you stick a rag in someone's mouth, and that muffles their in-game voice chat, quieter and muffled. I also think you should be able to soak it in something like alcohol tincture, and when you stuck it in someone's mouth, it would knock them unconcious. These would act much like the burlap sack, but mainly for Voice-Chat and Robberies.
n1kko 326 Posted May 5, 2014 Needs a bit of tweaking, but yeah I like it. Good for holding people hostage. You could also use them to start fires with the alcohol tincture.

TheLoneSurvivior 37 Posted May 5, 2014 This is a great idea. I would love to see this implemented in the game.
Gluke 6 Posted May 5, 2014 Seems like a good, and original idea. I would like to see it implemented.
Crazy_Spider 235 Posted May 6, 2014 put some chloroform on it. I thought of that, but really, where are you going to find chloroform randomly in Russia? If you could it would be very rare ^^
Jfiles 439 Posted May 6, 2014 I thought of that, but really, where are you going to find chloroform randomly in Russia? If you could it would be very rare ^^its not something that is just for that use. It can be used an aesthetic or fuel for a heat engine.
Crazy_Spider 235 Posted May 6, 2014 its not something that is just for that use. It can be used an aesthetic or fuel for a heat engine. Um, aesthetic is the use we're talking about right now? But yeah, I don't think the second use would have much of a chance to be implemented, but after vehicles and survival is done, I think rags in the mouth would be cool. AnyoneInCherno? 187 Posted May 6, 2014 Molotovs would be a huge undertaking i think for the devs, tons of physics would have to come into play, such as liquid dynamics. I want it.
Crazy_Spider 235 Posted May 8, 2014 duct tape --> silence playersrags --> Molotov's Molotov's would require sooooo much development, that frankly, I don't think the DayZ team could handle. They'd need to implement liquid, as mentioned above me, they need to add flammability statistics, a whole new engine that allowed for destruction of buildings, damage ratings for fire, more physics, it's just too hard. And personally, I think duct tape should be used for fixing car parts, gun parts, bases, etc.
