Hello there

Also, remember there are NO true "friendly" servers.

Yup sounds like you donated your stuff to your 2 new friends. Welcome to Dayz, you loot and you die. Don't get attached to your gear because you will lose it due to glitches, zeds and other people. There is plenty of loot out there as long as you get off the coast.

What? can't they just let me dissepair to prevent this shit from happening?

I had a sweet M4A1 with tons of ammo (500 round box 4 slots filled + 2 slots in inventory)

A Magnum with also tons of ammo

Lots of food 'n drnks

TSKO (whateever) pants and shirt

and UK another chest thing

All the tools needed.

Now i decided to help other people, what do I get back. Fucking spawning back at the shore starting from scratch?

(sorry for swear, im pissed right now)

It's to stop people logging off during fire fights, which was a pretty big problem throughout the mod/at the start of the standalone

Because then people could use it to escape death in PvP situations which was a massive issue.

Makes sense...

Anyway I guess I have to deal with it. And apply the "Kill on Sight" policy.

Btw, Does anybody know a good clan? (:

They or someone else either shot you or handcuffed you and jacked your shit. There's really no other explanation.

So let me get this straight? Because you have a bad experience with people that took advantage of you because you timed out you are going to kill people on sight? Also get some time to know the game before you even join a clan. There is so many experiences you can have in DayZ and killing on sight is one of the most dullest of them all where the only difference you have between this and cod is that when you die you need to gear up again.

Oh to the OP, was your original character on a regular or hardcore server? There is a difference, if you started your character on a regular server and then tried to log into a hardcore server you would be a fresh spawn as these are 2 different game modes(for lack of better terms). Hardcore mode has the 3rd person camera view removed and only uses 1st person

And yes king_of_the_beans, sometimes all it takes is one bad experience for people to say fuck it and adopt that mentality. I used to be outwardly friendly, now I am still friendly but most of the time if you aren't in my friends list or in team speak, I wouldn't piss on your gums if your teeth were on fire. Most people in this game aren't interested in being your friend or trying to interacting with you other than to kill you and get your sweet lewtz. Hell even the freshies have to be watched at all times because what do they have to lose? They may die 4 out of 5 times but that 1 time pays off and they don't have to spend time looking for stuff to survive

I only help people when my gear is okay, when my gear is good I tend to avoid being a so-called 'hero'
