Safe haven ain't safe no more

So, there is this town wich I don't know the name (check Image of the name below) north from the NE Airfield wich was zombie-free until now...I used to run after a respawn straight there as the only threat would be the other players. Sadly, as I went there a few minutes ago, it was filled with zombies all over the place.

Fellow survivors, beware of walkers if you ever go there!

Maybe the newest town north of that town is still free from those brain-eaters, still got to check that out.

It was on stable, I'm hopping back there to check if it might just have been a bug or reality.

Well, I just went back and spawned in the town directly on an empty server to prevent the fact that the zombies could have got there by chasing someone or smthg like that and there was still 1 zomber directly IN the city, I'll try in a few on a full pop to see if there is goign to be more zombies in the city or if the fact that the only zomb that was there was only because spawning in a server makes them spawn around you as well. Anyway, still no biggie as there is goign to be zomb all over the place eventually, it was just noce to have a city where you'd only worry about other players.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the newest town, I'll definitely take a look at it when exp will be back up.

the last few times I was in that town I had run-ins with zeds so I guess they've been added. I have only run across 5 all together and I am sure that at least two of those were respawns. I've found them close to the fire station and near the new log house in the center of town.

I was only speaking about c.polana the other day, about how it's a fantastic town for supplies.

I think I've been in there a handful of times and there were no zeds, but most of the time there will be 1 or 2 to take care of, at least lately.

Seriously though, this town is very underrated in terms of what you can pick up there. If you're a fresh spawn when you enter, odds are you'll be good to go by the time you're leaving, unless the place has been picked clean, which is almost never the case, even on longer restart servers with 40/40

It has been a nice little village. Good loot and silent. It even has fire-breathing sandboxes. :) There are 3 piano houses, so weapons are guaranteed. Had only once an encounter with another player there. But haven't been there for some time now. In the middle north, there is a train station. One of those that spawn stab vests and others. Ever wondered, why there is no village or city. Nothing else to loot. On the far north west outskirts, there is a factory with a train and bus station and many garages. Never looted and a long time ago, it was still safe.

Yeah, those were always my faves. Now, I hardly venture NorthWest. Just too long to run when I can get pretty darn geared just around Bere and the NEAF and surrounding towns. Yes, this new village does have a few token zeds, but probably only 2-3 on restarts. You have 2 super-food houses, 2 super-cabins in town, 3 piano houses, fire station, and a few other good houses for loots. It is usually dead, but I do come across players here from time to time.

You have to question yourself, is it worth running west to the train stations to search for the press vest??? I used to think it was worth it, but now, I'm not sure it is.

I have one now and I don't need a second, because I do not plan to die in the near future. But there is a better chance to find one there than at the other train stations. Also the far north west train station is not so far from the NWAF.

Go to Bor or Kamenka, no-one will ever find you there even if you shot 1 round in the air every 5 minutes for 3 hours.

^ I also need to crank my brightness & gamma on daytime servers because i have shitty monitor that does not display graphics well on certain angles (my chair is kinda low so i cannot sit straight looking on my monitor 90 degrees).

Do you have cushions where you're from?

That's not the greatest idea if you plan on playing for an extended period, it will end up cramping up your thighs pretty badly, as I learned when I my dogs made a meal of the seat part of a chair I used to have.

If its really annoying you, grab a cheap chair somewhere I would say

No, i live under the rock. :P

I don't like cushions and my chair is cheap & low but pretty comfortable so i can play for hours without any problems (except for darker graphics).
