Any more ways to increase frames? Mostly already tried everything

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Do you know any other ways to increase frames? I am tired of getting killed in DayZ and losing all my stuff just because the other player can turn faster and get a shot on me faster than I can.

I mostly did everything:

Changed config files (scene complexity: 50000, view distance: 1400, max frames ahead: 1, some other things)

Changed some in-game settings

In cities I get around 10-20 FPS and out of cities I get around 20-30 FPS.

I'm currently not on my computer, but on my phone so I am going to post the specs I already know:

Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium

Nvidia geforce 660 2 GB

AMD Athlon II 220 Dual-Core

4 GB RAM

If anyone knows a way to increase my FPS either by changing more things in the config or the in-game settings, that would be great. If it's the config settings, please tell me the values. I don't care if the graphics are low, just make sure it's not too low, that it's not blurry and that I can still manage to see items and players from a decent distance. If it's in-game settings, please tell me how it worked out for you and if you tested and compared it with other settings. Please make sure to include the FPS you get too. I'm really hoping to be able to actually play the game and not lag like a monster. Thanks again.

AMD Athlon II 220 Dual-Core

I had a better experience with a quad instead of a dual. Cheap one too!

I'm not sure of my in-game settings, but I remember the resolution is 100%. I was hoping someone who knew that their settings were the best for more frames could tell me what settings they used, how much it helped them boost their FPS and if they tested and compared it with other settings.

lower it to 75 that might help, I have most quality, render at low, seems to help allot

I tried, for me the FPS doesn't change really, but it does ruin my quality. Also, wht is a better CPU that is around $70, pretty good and can work with my computer and everything else in my computer? Thanks.
