Why do my arms look like salami?

From the thread title, I thought your arms were going to be shaped like giant sausages or something

 

That's what I was hoping for when I clicked the thread. Still, can't say I'm disappointed. This is definitely my favourite thread at the moment.

 

 

The real question is, what happened to MY arms???!!!

I'm partial to think it's the rendering being slow as well, but it could be that the skin was glitchy. It might be happening all the time for all I know. When you are all geared up in fatigues, duffelcoat, pilot helmet and designer glasses, who can tell what you look like underneath?

I'm pretty sure something happens when you wear that tshirt for too long, but I don't know why..

It's all about wearing gloves. The Texture changes as you can see if playing as a black person -> white arms while wearing gloves. So the texture changes even if you are a white guy.

No, they just suddenly appear, sometimes they're there, sometimes not. It hasn't to do with rendering

There are a couple reasons this could be. But you dont provide enough information. Changing gear, changing animation, serverside updates we dont see, client side updates, field of view, health and character display somehow tied in.

 

Second post has lower quality, bad resolution? Different light but they are still there. Your not wearing gloves either...

Take your gloves off. When a black character wears gloves there arms turn white. Couldn't have been the only one to notice the weird effects of wearing gloves does. I've got a screen shot of me straight up missing arms due to gloves lolol...
