out-numbered encounters

Recommended Posts

Why is it when a lone player or perhaps two players encounter a larger number of players that the larger number of players default to making lone player trust them? (put gun away, even put down gun)  because they can?

If they want to demonstrate trust perhaps the single player should get to keep hold of their weapon? its not like one guy vs 3 has a great chance of surviving any which way if it goes south but makes for a calmer lone player?

Thoughts from those that have had these kinds of encounters....

Yeah but a lone player can still do damage to a group, even if he only kills one member, that person still has to trek back there or go on a looting mission which can take hours of work.

Seen many a video where one smart player encounters two or three players and the one kills the two or three.  Numbers help on here but they don't guarantee you win.

I've run away thus far.... but cornered don't know if I'd be so keen to make myself even more vulnerable by doing what I'm told so more likely it'll go south I'm thinking.

numbers are useless. usually big groups will kill you (handcuff, torture and more) so if a big group approaches me i will kill them. its incredible easy to kill big group. good sniper can take out 3 - 4 players before they even heard the shot.. the rest will panic and make mistakes (usually the panic and screams in the conversation will confuse them). the perfect player amount is 3 - 4.

Not even 20 minutes ago, I took out 3 armed players at NWAF. Using incredible stealthy tactics such as screaming "Aye Aye Captain Birdseye!" as I held the trigger down with a complete disregard for ammo conservation or indeed hitting the target.

It only takes one madman to wipe out a group if they are careless.

One guy with his gun away can still faceroll his way through three guys with their guns holstered. :3

An M4A1, SKS, or FNX makes quick work of three defenseless targets.

Can we post links? just watched "day 6" of the dayz diaries (blackout's vids) on youtube.... bizarre three way negotiation that resulted in a nice group photo! so funny, but good example of how things can go well :-)

FYI, vid is nowt to do with me.
