Randomize the Spawns

Recommended Posts

I'm wondering... why do the devs put spawns only up NE? Why not randomize them all over?

Here are some towns to put the randomized spawns in:

  • Kabanino (Very Rare)
  • Dichina (Very Rare)
  • Shahovka (Common)
  • Novy Sobor (Rare)
  • Kamaravo (Rare)
  • Zelenogorsk (Uncommon)
  • Gvozdno (Uncommon)
  • Pusta (Uncommon)
  • Berezino (Common)
  • Coasts of Elektro & Cherno (Very Common)
  • Olsha (Uncommon)
  • Bashnya (Uncommon)
  • Malinovka (Uncommon)
  • Rify (Rare)

spawns are, where they are needed to be at current stage.

do not expect spawn point balancing until well into beta.

Because people will continue to jump off of the solnichniy factory buildings.

Most of these are right next to military loot.

It would be better is they randomize spawns all along the coast because now berenzino is just a death match.

working as intended: since there have been significant changes to the N/NE parts of the map, current spawn choice increases the player traffic to the north to have more feedback on the new areas. its not different with new items: they have an increased spawnrate so many people can test them thoroughly.

I agree that spawn points need to be randomized all over the map. It's just annoying to always spawn in the same place (and see a cementary in Solnichny).  And I don't care if some places are close to military loot or not. You can find weapons easily enough already.. But what we also need is fixing loot table, so that we don't find dozens of ammo packs. If ammo is rare enough, spawning next to military loot area will make no problem, because you will find a single mag for M4 at best. Good luck with doing a KOS genocide with that.

People would just suicide, until they get a suitable spawn.

I want to see that one suggestion on Reddit where you would wake up in a random house somewhere inland.

At night or a cloudy day, in the forest with no landmarks you would have zero sense of direction.

They could also make houses near military loot very rare.

I would however also like the cities to stay somewhat populated.

Maybe 66% chance spawning close to / in a city.

33% spawning in a completely random house almost anywhere on the map.

This already happens but i too would like it if we couod spawn anywhere on the map, preferably in any building on the map

Why not, it doesnt interfere with the game production in anyway, it would take about an hour and it would improve gameplay slightly.
