Just got stuck in a wall after a server restart.. it rolled me back quite a ways and into the office building which I am now in an impenetrable fortress of invisible walls. I've tried the sprint-vault trick, each and every face has been rolled into, walked, proned, crouched.. no hole seems to exist. Is there any way to have my player reset or moved or is there anything else I can try? I searched and only really see the sprint-vault option.. :( Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
barnabus 1708 Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) Did you try low crawl? I've had this issue and just avoid logging out in buildings. Sometimes it is unavoidable with no warning server restarts. I was smashing my keyboard like a korean pro gamer to get out of there and it worked LOL. I've tried to jump, walk and crouch all at the same time and after a couple of minutes I did managed to get out of there. While smashing a keyboard is not a good solution, you can go on a laggy server and jump out of that wall. fluxley 2228 Posted April 23, 2014 Try the run jump trick while on high ping servers and run extra programs/shit load of browser tabs in the background to put your cpu under heavy load, with luck that'll cause enough dsync to get you out. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jukaga 271 Posted April 23, 2014 I fell under one of the new Cherno overlook apartments, I was stuck for about twenty minutes but eventually got out using sprint&vault. LOL No ones coming here for a long time. Ive now tried high ping servers.. all the bells and whistles and its just not letting me. Ill keep trying though.. Ive got no other choice I guess? I feel like Ive tried everything.. switching weapons, 390 ping server, running while joining into game.. so many efforts all in vain. I guess this little character of mine is locked away for safe keeping or something.. time to play on HC from now on until I hear of some way that will work for me. I dont give 2 craps about dying, but not even being able to use the character or 3pp stable servers at all is a big time issue for me. If Im on HC and I start to feel sick from the perspective getting to me, I have no other choice as Exp. is rubber city with the new loot respawn testing. I really hope I can be killed in here.. My friend cannot help me for a long time and Id like to get this going soon if I can.. I can lean my body out the wall and you can headshot me hopefully. I have some pretty remarkable loot if my body is lootable so its highly worth your effort if you are close and things work out well.. OH MY GOD. Seriously I tried for almost 2 hours with other methods.. logging out over and over again. This took all of about 25 seconds to get me out.. your thread needs to be stickied.
