just killed someone and the server crashes

Recommended Posts

So I couldn't loot his ammo box filled with M4 ammo :(

And his saline bag)

It didn't restart (not the no message received) but the game just started with 'receiving'. My friend had it too at the same moment.

A lot of the time server admins will restart the server if they die just to get back at the killer or game in general. Some people will do something just because they can.

Reason #1 to NEVER play on a rented server.. Only official for me, or known trusted host sites that do not belong to some man child.

I have had that happen on more than 1 occasion. Drop a random player, and a few seconds later the server drops. First time I thought it was coincidence (and still could have been), but after 3-4 times in a few months of playing .  . . I came to the conclusion that we just killed the admin, and he's hoping to recoup his life.

We even got one on camera.

Fast forward to 3:50 if you don't want to watch the full highwaymen footage. Takes about 15-20 seconds between the final bullet and the server dropping.

Ooooh, the memories. Great song.

Make sure to report servers you think are not sticking to the rules, as the more people do it the more efficient it will be:

It's a form of banditry. All KOS'ers are bandits, but not all bandits are KOS'ers.

It's like all thumbs are fingers, but not all fingers are thumbs.

We make no secret of our intent :). We were JUST discussing how we never see anyone between Elektro and Cherno and suddenly there was a rush of people, Though given our experience in the area, they would have done the same to us had they seen us first. The last few times we were nice, even to new spawns, they just ran around us spamming global and followed us while their armed buddies took position on the road. My friends wanted to kill them but I was like "nah we'll just ignore them." We have a video of that too somewhere I think.

Now hear this, Aloha is For Tourists, which I own, does NOT do this, I will randomly restart the server only when I have not been playing, just to discourage hopping and to change the time of day from time to time., usually I play on experimental anyway.
