srgntpepper 85 Posted April 16, 2014 When objects are thrown, do they make a noise when they hit stuff?Does a thrown knife,(for example) cause damage to players or zombies?What types of items can you or can you not throw?From what I can tell they don't. I'm sure they plan on adding that in. Also doesn't help that they haven't told us what new features will require testing, so we're guessing what they've tinkered with. I guess they fixed it, but since they have not made night playable yet I don't care for it and imagine most servers will not use it. I certainly won't be using servers that have accelerated time or 24/7 night mode enabled. This is a shame because I really miss it from the mod.Played a bit earlier today and I was able to see very clearly at night with gamma/brightness all the way up. In my experience, gamma/brightness exploiting only works with HDR on "Low" instead of "Very Low". It still looks close to pitch black if HDR is on very low. Not only does this help with the exploit, but it also makes it easier to see at night in general. Not many seem to know this though; saw many guys in Svet with their flashlights out. I haven't noticed cloud settings have any effect on the exploit, I leave most everything on max. Without the moon no setting will give you vision. This is incorrect in my experience. With HRD on Low the exploit works just fine with no moon, as it did when I was testing a few hours ago. When the moon came out it worked even better. (I thought it was turning to day but it was just the moon) This was all done with clouds on max. I'll try to post some pics today if I have time. lordkalvaire 15 Posted April 16, 2014 (edited) I had couples of disconnects because of server crashing. But what annoys me is the game crashed twice to desktop (never happened before). But I didn't experienced any desync on EXP 100/100 or any 40/40 compared to massive desync on the previous 43 stable.(warp back inside building while trying to leave said building) FOV now seems the same between 1st and 3rd person.
