Shoot whilst sitting?

Should it be made possible for players to use there gun while they are sitting down? This would be good firstly because I don't see why you couldn't in RL and secondly would allow for some awesome traps with people thinking that you've logged out, and then BOOOM. Would make players more cautious when just running up to players they've assumed have logged / combat logged.

 

What do you think?

This might be me being noob but I don't really understand does your character automatically sit when you're logging out?

Like this? Notice how he's holding the gun, it would make sense to being able to pull the trigger.

Oh nice, haven't been able to play for a while :/ when did they stick that in? And shame you can't use the thing :p

Yeah when you log out your character crouches, then sits down and stays sitting till the 30 seconds are up.

I don't really know when they put it in, have your weapon out while pressing the sit key and your character will do this. :)

I dislike this kind of idea.

It's like wishing a running on the spot animation to make believe you desync or server reset and tricks others players.

I thought they used the ArmA 3 stance system??? And if someone sat down i'd just keep shooting until i'm sure he couldn't have survived that.

No they don't...which is stupid because I'd really like that. Someone already made a thread about this in the suggestion forum

But they really have to rework the system a bit...holding down a button instead of going up/down is stupid ( unless i missed a control setting )

If they are gonna implement it they're probably gonna make it so you can choose between toggle or holding down the button...At least I hope they will.
