suggestion FAQ

Recommended Posts

I say we add a suggestion FAQ pinned to this forum. it will contain most of the things we need to repeat constantly, such as "headshot only zombies", etc.

this obviously is a suggestion for the forum, not the game

I actually ment for he FAQ to just be to dissuade people from posting topics like " bring back the HUD" or "headshot only zombies"

that's exactly what I mean, basically a "read before you post" topic

I do believe the search function, or merely one's ability to search the respective forum manually, is sufficient. We tend to lock or merge topics that are suggesting things that have previously been suggested (often numerous times). An FAQ would be a nice addition, but it is not a necessity (due to the existence of the search function and such, as said).

That's not exactly what i'm talking about. There's nothing there about suggestions that are getting constantly posted, yes there's the "read before posting" but it happens anyway.

The following extract from the provided topic somewhat covers that:

As per usual, should you fail to do the above prior to posting (and end up posting a suggestion when a topic regarding said suggestion currently exists), your topic shall be locked (and you will be directed to the existing topic) or merged (with said existing topic), depending upon the content of your topic.

Oh, so a bunch of questions like 'why isn't my game working' and so on?

Hmm, after putting quite a bit more thought into it I agree, It is the posters responsibility to search before creating a topic,

although what you said at the end was what i was trying to suggest in general,
