Experimental servers, do they restart?

I have been playing today on the exp. hardcore server for about 5-6 hours, excluding some breaks, server was constantly full or near full. I went through 3 lives without ever even finding ONE soda or food can. I went along the coast, to the North and eventually from Svetlo to the west through the north planes and I was only able to take this trip because I looted a player who was apparently afk (not very smart mate to stand in the middle of a room afk). I first waited a while if he would return and help me but after a few minutes I lost patience (and was dying of hunger) and took his stuff while letting him live (probably he died from hunger himself later on).

Every single house was looted, nothing to be found except badly damaged hats, books and plenty of shoes, trousers and flashlights.... I was hoping to get a restart at some time to be able to survive but either the exp. servers restart after many more hours of up time or they are broken :) If you are a fresh spawn on the hardcore server right now there is NO chance of survival.

Are you sure there is loot at all? Because sometimes the experimental servers don't have loot nor do they have Zombies, so other things can be tested, especially performancewise.

 

The servers do all say "Accelerated time testing", so I reckon it could be that that's being tested exclusively.

Yes I saw 2 zombies on the map in the region of stary sobor, all other zombies seemed to have been killed by the few hundred players that had gone before me :)

Yes there was loot, in the form of hats mostly, also found a shovel.

Been playing the experimental version a few days ago. Couldn't find food nor drinks. Rest seemed to be in the game, a lot of hats and other fashsion stuff though. After luring for berries to keep myself alive for longer and wandereing around in the west of the map, i gave up :( No zombies whatsoever
