Night time servers not working? Please Help

So yeah, like the tittle says, i'm having a problem with night time servers.

Every damn time i go on a 6 P.M - 6 A.M server, it's day time. (Just in case for those wonderin', yes, i went on a 6 P.M server once and it was night)

 

So is this like for everyone else or just me? I've tried as many servers as i can but still no luck.

Any kind of help would be very much appreciated.

It is a game issue. I am running a server and I can change the time to whatever I want. It always shows up as daytime .. even though the server control and in game time states it is (whatever) night time... this problem started after the last patch (0.43.etc)

Night time server have been truned off by the server host, Im thinking they are working on the lighting and gama issues. Even if i put my server at midnight its still daylight.

Yup, same problem.   I just bought a server and I have it set to 4pm until 8pm and it does not get dark.  Also, I waited until it reset after I got home from work and when it did, the server started at 8 am instead.

As the topic shows, night server wont work for me. I love lighting a gaslamp and sitting around in the woods, but this isnt possible to me anymore, because nightserver wont work :(.

No matter what server I join, its ALWAYS daylight there. Even on servers with a servetime in the early morning like 2:30AM for instance.

Is this a common issue?

Don't join servers that say 24/7 daylight.  Thats my best advice.

you should try nighttime server only those are broken to ;( and in dedicated server theres is no one

I'd play night, but it's always PITCH BLACK. Maybe once they balance their lighting I'll get into it.

I love the night in DayZ. It's the darkest and most "realistic", at least for me, night in video games. I really enjoy night in DayZ.

Well Guppy what is dark for you? If he turned off his lamp it would be as black as the original background from the forum. You can't balance black...

Maybe reduce the lighting in the current daytime instead of completely turning it off?

Thanks for your posts. I can see I am not the only one with this Issue. Even if I join "night servers" i wont have night :(.

It appears that nighttime has been permabanned by the last update. No idea why.

There have been no night time servers since patch 0.42..

 

Also, it would be nice if a dev/mod would acknowledge this here on the forums, or on the feedback tracker: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=10194 - and if possible a reason why there is no night time at the moment ( Bug or intentional )

Same for me i geared up for 3 days to get ready to go on night time flash lights headtorches etc to find there arnt any atall :(
