How do you find the NWAF? I tried so often to find it and got lost. :lol:

I guess the clue is in the name its north west and its a bloody big air field, some crazy guys might use a map to find it but they are silly

You do know the devs can control exactly how many of them are in rotation throughout all of the servers right ?

 

 

Meaning if they put a limit of around say 10k lrs no more will spawn so long as 10k are actively out there in players hands.

 

This might be what is happening and the max cap has been reach thus it appears to now be super scarce.

all my hardcore character does is run from the south west barracks to the army base north east

looting everything, every hangar, every barracks, the atc, ect ect ect

in NWAF

i pop into servers that aren't looted about 90% of the time, with almost 100% barely looted

i never run into anyone

and i never and i mean never, in 3 freaking patches, see one LRS

 

NOT ONE

not even badly damaged or on a corpse

 

i beleive they no longer spawn and the only ones in use are by sniper bandit dupers

also i am offering a reward of 50 beans for any man woman or child who can post me a 4.3 recent screenshot of an actual ground loot LRS.

 

don't cheat a post a pic of your own dropped one and try to pass it off. knowing this game, karma will reward you by clipping it through the ground!

I found an LRS the other day on Experimental @ NWAF hangers.  It was damaged though.  Didn't even want the thing.

Im at 70hours and seen only 2 Lrs. One was badly damaged, other was pristine. In the Hangars and in the barracks. Also the quality of spawns are ridiculous, most of the time(80%) its all worthless stuff, but yesterday at Nwaf I've found 2supressors(m4), an Acog, an m68 optics, an Irv1(or smthing), a compensator, bipod.....all of them pristine....

I have never classified it as a survival-horror game. Maybe your expectations are just wrong. You could also argue that humans are the ONLY thing that could make it a horror game. Almost no amount of AI will achieve a horror effect.

When I find LRS I make sure to have my mosin treat it to a steak dinner before the two get serious.

An bit of info for those that think quality influences LRS - it doesn't.

 

A badly damaged LRS is as good as pristine one.

 

Optic attachments don't have accuracy modifiers. The only difference is that "Damaged" or "Badly damaged" optics have cracks on the lenses obscuring view. Since the LRS doesn't have a "cracked" version (texture overlay) implemented yet, you can use it just as good regardless of condition.

 

Next time when you need a LRS and find a damaged one, don't leave it hoping that you'll find a pristine one. Take it, as it makes no difference.
