RagedDrew 209 Posted March 20, 2014 As others have said, pre-patch helmets can't be painted, I had one in my bag for weeks waiting on the patch, tried painting it yesterday, didn't work, dropped the helmet, found a new one and painted it with no problems. KaidenOZ 6 Posted March 20, 2014 (edited) try dragging the pain can onto the helmet in your invantory. tryed everything to get it to work earlyer today and gave up thinking it didnt work. mate logs on and did that and it worked, i tryed it with my pre patch Ballistic helmet and it worked so yeah derp. Why would you be able to fix a ballistic helmet with a sewing kit...? The same goes for any vests with kevlar. You can't fix kevlar with a needle and thread... I don't follow your logic. I tried it because he said it should work and i wanted to verify that it didnt so i tried it.
