Lutz6000 1 Posted March 19, 2014 Ok I know its potentially just a Placeholder but seriously bleeding just because you´re wet makes it impossible to play while its raining (and I love the rain atmosphere) which is really sad :(So please bring out a Hotfix just so rain doesn´t kill you within 3 minutes. Iv never bleed in the rain on test servers when it was put in. Still not bleeding now ether lol. Maybe some one shot you with the new sporter gun or the hand guns. I will say something kind of similar happened to me last night. (The reason I read the thread). A friend and I were just outside of elektro, mostly freshies, (this was experimental BTW) and we were about to hit the road for Cherno. I will say that a ton of players were experiencing a ton of connection issues. But here I am running down the road, not even to Pik Koslova yet and my buddy comes over comm saying he just randomly started bleeding. Just as I comprehend what he is saying, my screen goes black, "You are dead". I still have no idea how I died and he has no idea why he started bleeding. We never heard shots or saw any other players (was in 3PP). But never once did we be like "Hmm, musta been the rain". LoLzYeah your Story is really convincing but it isn´t the fact that I didn´t hear a Gunshot but that my game didn´t played a hit Sound or the short supressed "scream" a player does when hit. You could of course say well it was lag or its stupid to blame the rain (which sounds stupid to me too btw ;) ) but I could figure out what it could be and the only thing that changed during the last 2 minutes (the time my Character needed to get soaked) was the rain. Another fact that made me believe this was a dev Vid where the player broke his leg after being fully soaked (maybe I got this wrong too because I´m not a native English speaker and not always fully understand everything) but I explained it this way: Soaked has to have an effect on the Player like getting sick --> getting sick from getting wet wasn´t coded in the last update (0.36......)
