preacherlr 614 Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) Do you use Windows XP? If so, This may help. " People I have the solution, the game require high v memory values.. and windows xp cant handle it... so you must change the config file located in my documents. Change the value of vram. In my case I have 1 gb of vram and change the value to 900 megabytes.. but the file use only the bytes unit . you can change to the nonlocalvram to the value of your ram memory in bytes ! then try play "Taken from the steam forums, I cleaned it up a bit, Because it wasn't really English.. That non-highlighted P is annoying me.. Edited March 18, 2014 by Preach

Mos1ey 6301 Posted March 18, 2014 The issue only occurs when he alt + tabs out of the game, so I would assume that -nopause would prevent it without him having to change anything via his config. :)

Mos1ey 6301 Posted March 18, 2014 Were you able to play the game before/is this a new issue? Are you using anything like SweetFX or any other launch options? Have you tried deleting your DayZ.cfg and allowing the game to create a new one?
Oliver Riedel 176 Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) Ive managed to get it working by just right clicking my dayz cfg file, going to previous verisons and restored it to some time last week. I really appreciate the help guys. edit: I assume since that fixed the error it was something off one of those FPS boost guides since I recently tried using one of those guides :) Edited March 18, 2014 by Oliver Riedel
lauda 44 Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) edit: I assume since that fixed the error it was something off one of those FPS boost guides since I recently tried using one of those guides :) It was the -winxp command in the launch options!
