So I propose a new way of communicating this to the player-one less annoying.

 

I was thinking instead of getting notifications in the text box, maybe a different sound could be made while the player is getting wet, like the sound of the rain hitting someones jacket, or skin or something.  It would be very subtle, the player would have to listen for it.   It could be louder for the fluff coat, rain coat, and riders jacket.  There is definitely a sound that is made when rain hits a person.  Realistically, it probably wouldn't be as loud as would be needed for my idea, but it would be a hell of a lot less annoying than the notification that pops up now.

 

For swimming or walking in ponds, I think it would be rather obvious when, how, and what parts are wet, so I don't think even a notification should come up, but that's just my opinion..

but tbh the text indicators are fine as far as I'm concerned, all they need to do is fix that bug. Sounds could be an interesting  way of communicating status changes, farting if you ate rotten fruit etc. I'm happy to see where the devs take it, or don't take it.

Title is unnecessary, I like the idea of rain making noise on your shoulders and such.

This is a debugging feature to help with testing rain and other things that make you wet (please don't). If you are bothered by it, stick to the stable branch where the message is not present. Similar things may appear on the experimental branch from time to time, but will typically not make it into the stable version of the game.

Yeah remember when rain first started making you wet in addition to the text notifications the was an audible "ding" every time you got out of the rain.  Was glad when they took that out.

The community is mature,i'm sure nobody thought about that....(hahahahaha)

But really now,those messages are in experimental for purely testing purpuses.

I think an icon should be in order,that lights up to notify you if you are getting wet.
