"Private Servers" exist and it does no good to report them

I don't understand why Bohemia lets random people buy/lease their own servers when it's easy for a company that makes tens of millions on sales to just put out like 500 public servers for everyone to enjoy equally and then employ a few Admins that would deal with cheaters and complaints...

Nobody want to foot the bill, it's not like DayZ is a subscription game.

 

And technically only a handful of companies have the ability to host servers, they just lease it. As for wether the rules should be broken or not, without acceptance of the server lease term of service you couldn't have a server at all.

 

How hard is it to understand tho. There is only one way to rent your own DayZ server and it come with rules of conduct. If you don't like these rules, accept the fact you will have to play on someone else's, that's all.

 

DayZ servers are not rented for personal or exclusive group use, plain and simple. If you disagree, well too bad as there is not going to be an alternative option, at least for now.

If you rent a server you do. They technically sign a legally binding document.

In fact there are rules for renting a server. 

I Ignore this on purpose because i'm certain that private server  don't do any harm for US. You can kill these people when they come to you, no matter what guns or loot they might carry from their loot server. And PVP. I'm sorry, but dayZ SA Alpha has nothing else to offer at the moment. And that'll remain there for a long time. In the meantime, why focus on harmless PSH(Private Server Holders)? What about glitchers, hackers and exploiters? The more time we nag in here, the more people become victim on others who do more harm than these people.

OK this thread has officially pushed me over the edge.

 

Private servers are not allowed and if reported they will be eventually taken down.

 

Admins cannot kick because they want to farm loot, play PvE or link arms and have slumber parties around a campfire.

It's okay for you to play dumb, you are probably still a minor.

Just because you like to be with randoms, does not mean everybody does.

I rather play 10vs10 or whatever kind of team you can make with friends, than playing with random retards that server hop, rq when attacked or hack.

Have fun with trying to sound cool, there are enough kids under the age of 18 that will applaud you for it.

Hell it takes just as long to gear up on one of these servers as it does on a normal server. I jump in a 2 man server and loot up. Did i need an own server for it? No

Did i need to kick people from it? No.

Did i do the same thing as i would in a private server? yes.

Did i "exploit"?  NO!

The issue with all of you is that you may not join specific servers as you feel threatened in it or stated why in the rules. But honestly, why do you all care so much that this thread has over 60 replies about something that's taken care off.

 

The problem is, if you think that people having private servers to loot on are the main cause of highly geared people then you're so wrong.

 

My opinion, my theory;

If i can't play on this server because of the admin, who cares? I'll go on another server.

 

Now can we please let this thread go off radar like flight MH370?

Not really... I would say they are possibly using this as a quicker way to gear up just to server hop themselves to get to where others are so they can kill people quicker. Also as well.. You get shot or taken down.. You can just jump back to the safety of your server that you kick everyone else from.. Kinda silly really to say its not a issue..

Most I can say is its in alpha so glad its happening now. Lets alot of people complain so by the time beta is done this will be dealt with already..

How difficult can it be to follow the rules?

Its incredible so many people are willing to risk loosing they're server, just to get virtual loot faster, coz thats all it is, getting loot faster lol.

I cant wait for Private servers, so people can dick around and play "Carebear Kindergarden" there, while the rest of us adult, can play the game as intended by BI :)

 

When i say intended, i simply mean no server hopping, no ghosting, no exploits and no cheating.
