Ok so i have just been on a server with around 10-15 people online.

 

While searching for my friend and heading from the very south west store alone the shore road towards electro i decided to check out the airfield on my way.

 

i saw a guy with a mosin running across the air field and run into the "Prison" building to loot, i watched him through the back windows as i was a little nervous about running in without scouting around first.

 

He seemed to close the doors after he had finished checking a room so after 30 seconds i lost sight of him.

Before i could enter i saw another guy run across from the west and head to the doors.

 

He was completely geared, M4 with all attachments, mosin with bipod and LRS etc.

 

I heard "Im friendly! Im friendly! Dont shoot!" which sounded like who ever was inside was panicking after being confronted with an M4, no shots where fired and the second guy replied with "Its ok."

 

Then BOOM!

 

A single shot rang out, i gave it afew second and entered the building with my magnum in hand. 

 

 "Im friendly! Im friendly!" came the voice from the looting player.

 

After hearing what i did and seeing how he just back stabbed the player who gave him a chance, i took aim and killed the bandit. i am currently watching over their bodys waiting for their return. The only thing i know is the bandit is a girl ingame so watchout for any childish sounding girls.

 

I would like to thank the bandit for the LRS Mosin, and the sawn off shotgun, these will be happily returned if the original owner from the server comes forward.

it was kinda crazy though, if i didnt hear the shouting before his shot, i would have walked on past and most probably got shot myself, had to laugh after shooting though :D

Yeah I've had this happen. Came down the stairs in a piano building in Berizino to two guys with shottys. They yelled friendly (I had my sks out) so I waved said hi and said I'd leave. I went out the door and they shot me in the back. didn't kill me, I was able to take one out while crippled.

Like iI came across a dude with a ton of zombie aggro in experimental and he had an axe.

 

I fired a single shot to get all the zombies to come to me and give him some time to do whateve and just retreated..

Yeah i guess i just try give people the benefit of the doubt but when i see thing like this happening its kinda pisses me off, but hey, the number of friendlys are starting to exceed the number of bandits that i seem to find, i think Il always give people a chance but my sawnoff with always be ready inhand ;)

You might as well shoot everyone on sight.  There's no benefit not to do it.  If you don't do it, you'll end up dying a lot.

 

They should implement a humanity system like the one in my signature below, that would at least BALANCE out the hero vs KOS bandit gameplay.

what they would need to impliment is incentive to not kill people as soon as you see them. id much rather be held up and have to start looting stuff again than be killed. it takes forever to get to where i can get any sort of anything. or maybe just spawn a crap load of zombies around you if you do shoot... that could work to.
